NOSTALGIA

Memories of childhood, youth...and life.

Nostalgia is a French-Russian-Finnish co-production, which resulted from the meeting of Russian clown/mime artist, Alexander Vovk (at present living in Finland) with French mime artist, Christian Albouy.
"Nostalgia" is aimed at both children and adults, and is accessible to all.
Alexander created the clown theatre known as 'ELE' (gesture) in Turku, Finland.
"ELE" theatre creations have figured at a variety of festivals and theatre venues in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Estonia.

CABARET

A succession of quick numbers in the true mime tradition.

COEURS EN CHOEUR (Hearts in Unison)

A man is wandering in a city

While he sleeps, the objects of his dreams escape, fly upwards, drawing him away to another world - a world that is within him. This world is full of colour, fantasy and crazy ideas to live out with others who, just like him, are sometimes overcome by sadness. It isn't long before he's full to overflowing with this colourful fantasy, and so he shares it...with the public.
Full of winks and side-splitting laughs - for pure enjoyment.

MIME ET POESIE (Mime and poetry)

Does anyone know Marceau's poems, Marceau, the master of silence ?

Gérard Cathala, on tour with the mime artist, brings you these written verses. They were put together in an anthology in the 1970s. They bring us on a world tour of big cities - New York, Chicago...

Christian Albouy gives us an interpretation of the poem, through body movement.
He comes with flowers; on the dance floor he chooses one, then several partners to dance with. The public are part of the performance, for their greater enjoyment.
